About Local Artist Profiles

The Central Rappahannock Regional Library offers Local Artist Profiles as a free service to artists within our community and as a resource for the community as a whole. Any artist living in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Stafford, Westmoreland, and nearby counties and towns is welcome to submit their work for consideration. The goal of this project is to heighten awareness of the diverse and active artists within our midst who enrich our local culture. Go here for instructions for submitting a Local Artist Profile.

Featured Artists

Cheryl (aka ceebs) Bosch I like signing my work with an unobtrusive, non-gendered, on word name. After all, the work is not about me, but about itself - about its evolved state.

Bev Bley "I am in awe of the unique expressions of the creative process. The more knowledge I gain from this process, the more I realize that I am only on the edge of the iceberg. At the moment, design, color, and texture are my focus. I can hardly wait until a part of my work dries (or not) so that I can rise to the challenge to make my art exciting to look at."

Nancy Williams My art is about capturing a moment in time, either real or imagined. Although most of my work is representational, I am fascinated with how forms fit together, negative space, color relationships, and rhythm or pattern.

Robyn Ryan I endeavor with my compositions to capture the movement, the life, the personality and the relationships of my subjects... to imply a story and engage the viewer’s imagination.
