About "First Friday"
First Friday gallery openings are a year-round event and a true Fredericksburg treat. The First Friday of each month in downtown Fredericksburg, art lovers cruise Sophia, Hanover, Caroline, Amelia, Princess Anne, William and Liberty Streets as galleries and shops, including the Fredericksburg Center for Creative Arts, Art First, Colonial Art & Frame, Studio A, Wounded Bookshop, LibertyTown Arts Workshop, Brush Strokes, Bistro Bethem, and Hyperion, open their doors to unveil new works by local, regional, and national artists.
