WORKSHOPSHarvesting your Family History 9:30-10:30 Learn how to capture your family stories with Megan Hicks, writer and storyteller. Serving up your Family Stories 10:30-11:30 Learn how to tell your family stories with Tom Stamp, educator and storyteller. I’m Tellin’ mini-workshop 2:00-2:30 A fun, hands-on intro to the art of storytelling led by the I’m Tellin’ Troupe and library staff. We’ll show you how to make folktales from around the world come dramatically alive! Grades 4-6 only. Space is limited. PERFORMANCESI’m Tellin’… A Story for You! 2:45-3:30 Come enjoy the storytelling talents of local kids as they bring great folktales to life! For school age children and adults. Refreshments will be served. Family Storytelling by Tom Stamp- Storyteller, Musician and Educator! 7:30-8:30 Delight in the talents of this storyteller, musician, and educator. Refreshments will be served. The Ardiena Ann Tromley Family Storytelling Festival at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library is presented through the generous support of Mr. Thomas Tromley in loving memory of his wife, Ardiena Ann Tromley.
